The fire-fighting water pump is the heart of the water fire-fighting system, so it should be started and operated once a month to check whether the pump is operating normally and whether the water outlet pressure reaches the designed value. A simulated fire-alarm linkage test should be carried out for the water fire-fighting system every year to check whether the water fire-fighting system is quickly opened and put into fire-fighting operations when a fire occurs.

4. For high- and low-expansion foam fire extinguishing systems, the foam liquid and its reservoirs, filters, and related devices that produce foam should be inspected every six months, and the underground pipelines should be inspected at least once every five years.

5. Fire extinguishers should be inspected every six months, and should be replaced in time when they expire.

6. The gas fire extinguishing system shall be inspected and repaired at least once a year, and the automatic detection and alarm system shall be inspected at least twice a year.

7. Because outdoor fire hydrants are located outdoors, they are often damaged by nature and man-made, so they must be maintained frequently.

8. The water supply system of indoor fire hydrants shall be thoroughly inspected at least once every six months.
